It is just before a September sunrise.....
"Slowly, the sun's immense golden mantle spread across the meadow
revealing a field of diamonds that shimmered and sparkled. No greed
could touch them nor could they be stored for another day. God's
treasures, like daily bread, are not to be possessed except by the
memory of the spirit. This insight isSeptember' s truth; it is the
September face of God.....
"God asks in the happenings of September, if I am willing to grow
beyond where I am. Am I willing to be pruned, to be replanted and cut
down so thatfresh growth will come in the spring?.....
"Now it is time to walk into this day, into the daily tasks and small
duties that will accompany it. I have been blessed to be present at
its birth and now because I have seen the September face of God, this
day will bring me life."
