THANKS
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalm 100:4
Give thanks to the Lord for He is good; His love endures forever. Psalm 107:1 Thanks
Thanks; a small word, yet with such enormity of importance. So much hinges on an attitude of gratitude.
As we celebrate Thanksgiving, we think of turkey, pilgrims, school pageants, parades, pumpkin pie. We recoginize and give thanks for the gifts of family, home, jobs, food, friends, love, health, life itself.
It is a perfect time for asking, "What am I thanksful for?" Even better, "Whom should I thank?"
Often it looks like it's a person who deserves our thanks. Sometimes we think circumstances get the credit. Yet ultimately, everything we have is a gift from God. Even who we are, our very breath, is a gift from God.
God uses people and situations to bring His gifts to us. He alone however is the Great Gift-giver. And, He is the greatest gift.
Yes, itt is good to know Whom to thank....
